We know that many people love and wanted this site and it became a cosy world corner for old Ibiza goers and insiders from the old days..We have many more photographs and real stories and we shall place more in the near future. We also know that there are quite a few personalities missing here but, dont worry, we do have a great archive and from time to time we shall try to add those.

We also run a limited Who's Who and Who was Who list under the International Ibiza family page. http://ibizatimes.blogspot.com/2006/09/foxy-and-lord-sydneythe-pink-floyd.html
More Ibiza personalities shall be added from time to time.

We like to thank all our old Ibiza friends for their help, fotos, short stories and information. We specially like to thank all the old knowledgeable Ibiza goers and the Ibicenco families who have given us some great material and stories on the young and amazing prodigio Lord Sydney who has played an important role in many peoples life and worlds on good old Ibiza during the golden days and who knew and grew up with most Ibiza's co-legends and advised many. Without this unique world personality and his museum archive this site would not be the same and we wouldnt have access to as many old materials and certain updates. So, another big thank you to Lord Sydney from all of us at Ibiza Times, the old days.

THERE IS NO FUTURE,WITHOUT A PAST!
-
In the year 2021
onwards Ibiza can still be Ibiza sometimes,
as most Ibiza experts know the island has changed for the good and bad. Ibiza is still Ibiza of course but, there is not much authenticity left as it was in the 50,s 60,s or 70,s and quite a few of the town views have been spoiled. It is up to you now to keep the old Eivissa spirit alive.

EIVISSA,THE OLD DAYS.

Eivissa (Ibiza) the old days were the days of joy where many nationalities joined eachoter in the morning for the famous 'cafe con leche' at the Bar Estrella. The 1930's, 1940's 1950's and early sixties were already quite bohemian and pioneers, writers, painters and other artists were working and enjoying life from the magic white island, way before the hippies came. When talking about the real Ibiza days or, the so called golden epoque or good old days, we are talking about the 1960s and 1970s. Many Ibiza legends and artists will tell you that the best time on Ibiza was from 1966 till maximum 1975. After there was still the post-golden epoque which stopped in 1980 and, 1982 was the end of the whole show as we knew it. American writer Steve Seley was one of the very first personalities to have known the old Ibiza and all its local bars and personalities. Most of the old days 'pioneers and artists' were from English, Irish, Dutch,German and American orgin, followed by other nationalities.
