Downwards we see the young Sydney enjoying the Ibiza sunshine during the old days as well as a few of his old Ibiza art pieces and drawings which nowadays are sold for over 170.000 thousand dollars or more, his drawings made in bars or Restaurants on spanish napkins/serviettes go out from 4000 to 7000 euro per piece. (motivated by Dali and Teister) Lord Sydney is probably one of the most expensive living artists as was his colleague and friend Andrew Vicari. Further we see one of Antonio Torres's nicest drawings of Ibiza's old town (D'alt Vila). Photo collage downwards we recognize i.e. Ernst Vrijbrief, Jan-Gerhard Toonder, Lord Sydney (Close looking at the camera) and on the right we see Antonio Torres, Bernie Bishop and Juanito Bahia (Restaurant). Under. Having a meal, Curro de Utrilla (Owner of the Ibiza bullring) with Lord Sydney in a later opoque at Juanito Bahia's restaurant. Right under, The young Sydney with Ibiza in the background. ANTONIO (Tony) TORRES.
ANTONIO TORRES (One of his unique works)

Artist Alain Teister and the young communicator and artist Sydney who all stayed and lived on Ibiza during the golden days use to meet-up frequently for artistic discussions in Ibiza town. Alain Teister/Jacques Boersma was the motivator behind the young Sydney to get him started with painting just as Salvador Dali. Their meeting places included Juanito Bahia's chicken restaurant, Los Pasajeros, the Delfin verde, Bar Estrella and La Noguera. It was at La Noguera where the young Sydney was asked during a few tapas by the art elite to become their representative and start selling their work to his contacts. Dali, Teister and Torres would than take the young communicator and artist to Casa Verdera and bought him all the paint he needed to do his own first paintings guided by his artist friends. The young Sydney was a great pr boy and managed to sell quite a few paintings and other works for his artist friends and apart from creating his own art he saved quite a few artists from falling apart, hunger for food or money or by telling a few to stop the Absinth. Tony, Ernesto, Alain, Sydney and the rest also frequently stayed on Formentera with its paradise beaches and they use to hang out in San Fernando and San Fransisco, places where they created new energy and new ideas but, also at Sydney's old friend Erik K De Vries's house Can Erik in Es Pujols, of course Fonda Pepe was their regular bar hang-out who didnt go there? The best of the sixties and seventies.

More recently (as of year 2000) our reporter Lenny Berman visited Formentera and saw (by pure chance) artist painter Yehuda Neiman with Lord Sydney who were spending some time in the campo and between Estrella and Fonda Pepe. They also visited their old places of the past once more.

THE BEST YOGHURT (YOGOURT) ON THE BALEARIC ISLANDS.

LECHERIA LA BOMBA.

The most famous, the most respected and the purest of them all.
In today's world it's very rare to find something 100% pure. The yoghurt from Lecheria la Bomba is made everyday from fresh Ibizan cow
milk, not to forgt their goatmilk version. This is a family business with a long and great tradition..Generation after generation. One of those old Ibiza secrets and still going strong..Thank God.

THE PURITY OF THE IBIZA, THE CAMPO
AND NATURE

The young Sydney at the family finca on Ibiza, pulling fresh mounten water from the well. a place where this wonderboy cured and helped quite a few people with his natural talents. People from all over the world came to see and touch him and get some of his amazing natural life light and energy. After their visit most problems and obstacles disappeared accordingly. Born with unusual talents, light and energy, the natural energy of Ibiza gave him an extra gift to help many. (Also see elsewhere on this site) Today you can still visit the amazing Sydney for his natural energy blessings twice a year as what we know.

Sydney in later years during one of his
memory walks through the tunnels in Dalt Vila his old route where he took many people, bohemians and artists on his natural and wild Ibiza walks. In the mid sixties this was still a very spooky place without any light.

FINCA LIFE ON OLD IBIZA, THE OLD DAYS.

The early Phoenicians believed Ibiza to be a magic isle blessed by the Gods, because the rich, red soil is non volcanic and the island forbids survival to any reptile, animal, insect or plant that can harm humans. To this day many people wear amulets and pendants containing the sacred soil to protect the wearer.

IBIZA FINCA LIFE a way of living, away from it all and only invite who you like. Finca life on Ibiza during the sixties and seventies was quite special, Lady Adriana (Ibiza Truus) invited many people over the years to enjoy unique moments between selected friends at the finca in San Rafael. Other lunches would take place at i.e. Es Caliu aka the meat finca, a restaurant specialized in T-bone steaks and cordero. Es Caliu is also a finca like place. Photos above and below, Lady Adriana at the finca with guests. Foto under at Es Caliu with Rusty Wilson and others.

The young Sydney was brought up at one of the oldest fincas on the island, a place where many artists, bohemians and personalities use to unite during the old days invited by the young Sydney. He named it Home of the Stars because of the visitors and the real stars in the Ibiza sky above the pure campo.

THE PURE WAY OF LIVING AT THE FINCA.

Living at a finca on Ibiza was and is something unique! Being in touch with nature all the time and being able to pull up fresh mountain water from the finca well. People and animals all live in peace and harmony...The simple things in life are always the best! (Photo) Sydney and dog Lita at the finca.
